This Privacy Policy describes how MySudoku, provided by Nir Barzilay, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the MySudoku mobile application.
MySudoku is a Sudoku puzzle game with classic puzzles, daily challenges, statistics, achievements, optional iCloud sync, local notifications, advertising, and an optional one-time Remove Ads purchase.
By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this Privacy Policy.
Who We Are
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- “App” means the MySudoku mobile application.
- “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our” means Nir Barzilay.
- “You” means the person using the App.
- “Service Providers” means third-party companies that help us provide, improve, analyze, or monetize the App.
Information We Collect
MySudoku does not require account creation and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, or password to play the game.
The App may collect or process the following types of information:
Gameplay And App Data
The App stores gameplay information so the game can work correctly, including:
- Puzzle progress
- Difficulty level
- Daily challenge progress
- Completion status
- Solve time
- Mistakes
- Hint usage
- Notes mode usage
- Statistics
- Achievements
- Theme and settings preferences
Most gameplay and settings data is stored locally on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, some gameplay, settings, statistics, achievements, saved-game, daily-progress, and notification-preference data may be synced through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage so your progress can be available across your Apple devices.
Analytics Data
We use Firebase Analytics, provided by Google, to understand how the App is used and to improve the product. Analytics events may include information such as:
- App opens and sessions

This analytics data helps us improve gameplay, retention, performance, and reliability.
Advertising Data
MySudoku uses Google Mobile Ads, including AdMob, to show ads to non-premium users. Ads may include banners, interstitial ads shown after games, and rewarded ads that can provide an extra hint.
Google Mobile Ads and its advertising partners may collect or use information such as:
- Device identifiers
- Advertising identifiers, when permitted by your device settings and Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission
- App interactions
- Ad views, impressions, clicks, and related diagnostics
- Approximate location inferred from network or device information
- Information needed to serve, measure, limit, and improve ads
Depending on your region and privacy choices, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited. If you do not grant tracking permission, the App can still show ads, but the advertising identifier will not be shared for tracking.
Consent And Privacy Choices
MySudoku uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent choices where required by law or platform rules. UMP may show consent forms and may store your consent choices locally or through Google’s consent systems.
When privacy options are required, the App provides a Privacy Options entry in Settings so you can review or change your advertising consent choices.
App Tracking Transparency
On supported iOS versions, the App may ask for permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before allowing access to the advertising identifier for tracking and personalized advertising.
You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Purchases
MySudoku offers a one-time, non-consumable Remove Ads in-app purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details.
The App may use StoreKit transaction information to determine whether you purchased Remove Ads, restored a previous purchase, or are entitled to an ad-free experience. Existing users who previously purchased the paid version of the App may be treated as premium/ad-free according to the App’s entitlement rules.
Local Notifications
If you enable notifications, the App may schedule local reminders for Daily Challenge play. Notification permission is controlled by iOS, and you can turn notifications off in iOS Settings or inside the App where available.
Feedback Email
If you choose to contact us by email from the App, your email address and the message content are shared by you through your email app. We use that information only to respond to your request and improve the App.
